We're pioneers in the agile world with a long history and a proven track record. We help organisations become agile in a balanced way that's designed to succeed in the real world. Our focus is to deliver so that you deliver: we're here to make agile work for you.
agileKRC has been around since the mid-nineties – in fact since before the birth of the Agile Manifesto. We have provided agile training and consultancy services for thousands of organisations of all shapes and sizes, from the British Red Cross to the European Space Agency, and from Mars to the Ministry of Defence. Throughout this time we have been a pioneering company, often doing and thinking unconventionally and frequently challenging the status quo.
Today we are a thought leader in agile, pioneering new approaches and offering a fresh, thought provoking perspective. But we never lose our laser-like focus on the bottom line which is about getting results in the real world.
agileKRC offers a range of high quality services to transform the way organisations achieve results. We use cutting edge agile approaches to achieve a balance between traditional approaches and the ‘just do it’ mentality.
Our key services are expert consultancy, public and in-house training courses, coaching, and hands-on support.
agileKRC is a network of the UK’s leading trainers, consultants, project managers and other agile practitioners, led from the front by agile pioneer Keith Richards.
In 2011 Keith Richards was awarded “Most Valuable Agile Player UK” at the Agile Awards, voted for by his peers.
We’re challenging, honest, fun, inspiring, ‘real’ and results-driven. We tell it how it is and we always think for ourselves.
Above all else we want our customers to achieve their goals. So we take a very practical, success-orientated approach. It begins with taking the time to listen and understand, before offering our real-world experience and expert guidance.
We don’t try to be unconventional for the sake of it, but all too often we find that the conventional approaches are ineffective and inefficient. If we are to get excellent results for our customers we need to apply current best practice in a way that actually works. This often means challenging conventional wisdom.
Many people are persuaded into thinking that agile is a substitute for traditional rigour and discipline – this is the view in some areas of the agile industry. But the truth is that agile needs to applied carefully and will only work across the board if it is used in tandem with existing best practice.
We always take a balanced, pragmatic view and not a prescriptive one. We understand what works and what doesn’t, and we apply this knowledge to solve each customer’s particular problems.
A motto we have at agileKRC is “do as you would be done by” and this is why we put certain values at the heart of our relationships. We always aim to be: honest, excellent, inspiring and challenging.
